From http://www.audax-club-parisien.com/EN/382%20-%20RulesRandonneur%205000.html
"an approved FLECHE VELOCIO : The achieved mileage is used (360 km minimum of 24 hours)"

Effectively the distance is rounded down to X00km distance, since virtually everything else is counted as X00km. The only exceptions are the Fleche de France, which count towards the ACP's R10000. In that case, combining the actual Arrow distance ridden with the actual Fleche de France distance might push the total over the next X00km increment.

Is it me, or has info on the ACP awards been removed from the AUK website under the refresh? I can't seem to find them.

Try this https://www.audax.uk/awards-pages/audax-club-parisien-acp-awards

Is that actually linked from anywhere? I can't find it from the rewards menu or any of the rewards pages.

Also, seems the actual requirements for the awards isn't on the page like it was on the old one.

Might be a bit early, but I've a North of England Super Randonnee planned (starting at Hexham). I just need to collect the photies and get it approved.

Ideal, gives me time to lose enough of the spare tyre...
I'm also hoping that it being in the North of England means there's some good high speed descents in there, as by the sounds of CETs Welsh one the descents are mostly as nadgery as the climbs.

What goes up must come down!   ;D    Its difficult in 600km of maximised ascent to avoid a couple of dodgy lanes, although generally surfaces in Wales are good.  On the plus side, the descent into Llanberis is a scorcher...

It's linked on this page https://audax.uk/about-audax/awards-and-trophies/
Currently linked from: https://www.audax.uk/about-audax/
But the old site 'Results and Awards' takes you to 'Results' https://www.audax.uk/results/
with no signpost guiding one to where 'Awards' are sitting comfortably: https://www.audax.uk/about-audax/
I suggest a simple addition to the rubric in the main page: https://www.audax.uk/results/ saying (words to the effect of) "Awards are covered here" and a link to https://audax.uk/about-audax/awards-and-trophies

Fab that's me. I am not very clever, I was looking for one number for the entire ride rather than an individual one next to my name....
One number per human. Else it wouldn't work.
I always assumed a homologation number would uniquely identify one particular ride, but it seems ACP re-uses numbers  #125863 is my ride of The Border Raid last July, but it is also a 400km brevet done in 2017 by one Alan Santos.

Wait, how does that work?!

Does each Brevet have it's own number? Making the homologation number + Brevet number making a unique key? Or it unique only per year?

ACP has the same (consecutive) numbers for each distance (each series starting from 0001). Including the distance information should make them unique but I recall something about each four year cycle (around PBP) recently. Others will know more about this.

yes, when I put my numbers in from last year for pre-reg I was given the choice of me or some norwegian who'd done a 600 in 2014.
It seems to know who you are after that point though.

Presumably claiming these awards is dependant on official results from PBP which will not be out until January judging by last time.

Good point - it's been added.
But please note the best way to make these observations or to request minor changes is to mail them to webcontent@audax.uk

I note that the AUK Brevet 5000 was last updated in May 2018; is that because no one's claimed it since or just not been updated?
I submitted my claim for that to the recorder a few weeks ago but haven't heard anything yet.

I submitted my claim in September and haven't heard anything - as upthread - I met the requirements without realising and have too many other things on my plate to chase.

We noticed the "last updated" on the Brevet 5000 while doing the other changes and have asked the recorder for more recent information. As soon as we have it the page will be updated.

Still unchanged. I know I have completed the 5000 award rides, does the lack of my name on this list stop me buying the badge?

I sent my claim form off ages ago but heard nothing back, not sure whether to prod the recorder or not.

Still heard nothing.  Used the membership survey as an opportunity to ask a question.

Just had a message from the new Recorder saying my claim had been approved.

Everything comes to those who wait.   :smug:

Getting my Brevet 5000 during lockdown feels a little like Chris Froome winning the 2011 Vuelta from his hospital bed.   ;D  Although, technically, he rode less distance in the 2011 Vuelta.

Just a heads up. As per usual, if you've just ridden the LEL check your results sheets in relation to AUK brevet awards as you might now be eligible to claim the Brevet 5000/25000 awards:

Brevet 5000: "The B5000 requires a Randonnée of 1200 km or more, a Super Randonneur series, 1000 km, 24 hour team ride, plus other events to a total of 5000 km, all BR or BRM, all ridden within a 4 year period."

Brevet 25000: "The B25000 award requires a Paris-Brest-Paris or London-Edinburgh-London, another event of 1300 km or over, a 1000 km, a 24 hour team ride, three Super-Randonneur series, plus any BR or BRM events to a total of 25,000 km, all ridden within a 6 year period. Events prior to 1991 are not accepted."

I'm not sure whether the AUK results system will automatically identify eligible riders.

It never used to automatically detect multi year awards,  so I expectt it still won't.

I know I qualify for B25000, and also ACPs R10000, just waiting for the official LEL results to send my form off.

Do DIY's could for the Brevet 4000? Tallying all my DIYs and BRMs now, 21x200 in 2022 (so far ;D all DIY),  26 in 2021 (all DIY) and 22 in 2017-2019 (BRM)

I should qualify for a 2nd Brevet 5000, but fall short on the 25k (damn those covid years)
