Grapes
« on: 16 July, 2008, 01:05:20 am »

With all this thing about my being ill and in and out of hospital, I've litterally been offered several tonnes of grapes by family and friends.

Question is, why is the grape the fruit of choice?

Easy to eat, no peeling like oranges or heavy chewing like apples, and small so you don't leave half a grape to go brown beside the bed.

'Cos it would be really mean to bring someone who was feeling fragile a coconut.

Or a pineapple.

I like grapefruit, love pinapple and coconut, infact, add a little vodka and we got ourselves a party :)

When I was small, and had measles, and had to sit in a darkened room, my mother brought me yummy white grapes she had sliced in half, de-seeded and peeled  :D
