Title: Cree Bikemate LED front light

Bought one of these from Lidl  a few months ago and the light itself is pretty good, however the rubber mounting strap has broken already. Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a replacement (if it's worth the bother) or is there another substitute for this type - Lenzyne looks very similar.

A look on the web has not come up with much in the way of options.

Can you not use a large rubber O-ring

What does the strap look like? A Google search for "Lezyne mounting strap" brings up a few different types - not sure whether any would fit, though, without knowing.

this one doesn't use the o-rings it is a strap which is attached to the base of the light using an allen bolt, looking on the web it looks similar to the lenzyne y9 strap.

My strap did the same.

I found that a Lezyne Y9 strap fitted fine :)

Bikemate is Aldi, not Lidl, I have one of these -- stunning for the price.
There is a 3 year warranty, have you tried claiming on that?
