Actually, if I could attatch a push mower between the forks, then tow the roller, I'd be in business.

A stolen and dumped Saddle, with other associated straps etc, along with a riding hat, that had been run over as the scrotes pulled away, must have rolled under the vehicle. Called 101, and was duly collected by WPC about 10 minutes later. ''that looks suspicious!'' said she.    NO! said I.

Alas, no photo, but a 5-inch long salamander was crossing the wet road as I rode in a light mist yesterday.  I missed his nose by a few inches.

I found an L plate at the side of the road. It has magnetic strips on the back, but they don't seem to be very strong. Which is probably why it fell of a car. Still, could use zip ties, or string, or duct tape to stick it on the car.

I went out this morning to retrace yesterday's short ride in the hope of spotting the pannier clip I lost somewhere.
No luck.  I can only hope that a Mr. B Pig has a ride around South Birmingham in the near future.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

What sort of pannier clip is it? I wonder if there's something suitable in our Boxes Of Bits.

Thanks Helly.  From a Caradice Super C front pannier.
I'll post a picture on your new thread when I get home.  I'm currently out again on a different bike.

Ah! a SNACK!

Interestingly, I found one of those peeking out from under our cooker last night.  Barakta ate it.

It's an invasion. They're simply the scouting parties for the full-force Edam takeover.

Found this on yesterdays ride. Unfortunately I had forgotten to take my own phone, so could not take a picture 'in situ'. The phone , a Samsung S111 mini,(apparently), was discarded in a hedge, with the back of the phone closed up. On retreiving said phone I thought...hmmm, that feels light.  Sureenough 5 yds away was the battery on the pavement. Now the question, why was the phone closed up, but missing the sim and battery. If you pinched the phone, then found it was locked to network, and disconnected, then you'd just lob the lot without reassembling!!.
anyway, its a S.. S111 mini, , with a slight crack to the screen, no sim, AFAIK its not locked to any network, as I tried unlocking it, but it says 'not active' which means its not locked.... ::-)  Wifi works fine, has an sd card (i think) , and it takes a big sim. Mne is a med one so wont work in it, so I cant try it out. no numbers locked in contacts etc etc......, and the charger lead is same as my Nokia  :)
