A very interesting piece on Boingboing about Bisphenol-A:
Secret cabal of Bisphenol-A companies meets to sell the public endocrine disruptors
Turns out that this stuff is
potentially quite nasty
and the big manufacturers would really rather we didn't pay attention to all those pesky peer-reviewed studies...

I remember it from the earlier epoxy resin systems (powdercoating)
I had to wear all sorts of protective cloths, masks when using it
