I'm not going to make it to the roundabout for a ride this evening, will track down which is the chosen pub, if not the Woolpack, later.
Close by alternatives such as the Railway and White Horse have limited selection of ales, so if not the Woolpack probably worth going to the White Hart for the real ale bar or 'spoons for the curry fund builder option.

Huggy will be doing a pre PBP kit check with all of you this evening. Make sure you bring your setup for the Essex PBP bike check...

Decisions, decisions ... try the Woolpack, if no go, then I vote for the White Hart, since it's been a while since we've been there.

Given the uncertainty of Woolpack, why don't we just all do White Hart?

There is plenty of beer concrete garden out back while it's pleasant enough to sit outside.  The food is quite good there too.

An early decision has been made this week - The Spiritual Home - for a last gathering before that French ride and to wish bon chance to those going.

For the Witham Peloton here is the classic route linked from our sparkling new RwGPS Club account.  If you haven't already visiting the club account and signed in yet you can do so using this link to be automatically approved, then if you'd like to create routes and share I can promote you to be a Route Manager to enjoy all the benefits of a paid-up Basic RwGPS account.

I’ve got a family dinner, but will pop down afterwards.
You can’t just call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don’t like the way things are goin’.

Good idea, we’re having a celebration of French cepes, mousserons and champignons in honour of the 19th edition of PBP

I'm a no show for tonight. Shame as I would welcome some advice from the elders on the upcoming ride. My shoes finally fell apart, so I'll be breaking some new ones in on the ride

I'm planning on coming out, not sure if I will be alone at the Spa Rd launchpad or if BFC will be there too.  Tomsk said he'll try to intercept us.  Josser may be along with the menu special of mousserons and champignons, although not sure if there will be mush-room to dine inside this evening   ;D
