Lol I'd forgotten all about that. I like the nonchalence (sp?) of both the subjects.

And boab's top wasn't unzipped so low while I was there. That's what happens when nice girls sit next to bad men!

We took it in turns to say inappropriate sexist comments so your spirit was with us

Well....

I didn't notice a naked Oaky - all I saw was a cracking pair of tits  :P

Evening :-*

So, I've just about recovered from last Wednesday's epic cycle and am ready for the next  :D

This Wednesdays ride was due to take in some single track around Danbury but due to parential duties, Jon won't be about until later in the evening.  Hopefully we can book in another time, there is some cracking routes there

So how about we have a meander to a pub up Danbury way anyhow, and hopefully he can pop over and meet us later on?*

Have we been to the http://www.thecricketersdanbury.co.uk on the MEMWNS yet?

* Apparently, due to Ironman training, Jon will can't join us in having a refreshing beverage or two - soft drinks only for him :o

First Weds of t'month=book club again. That should keep me out of trouble. Last weeks session sounded legendary, how can you top that?

I would imagine that's only the half of it. Shocking, shouldn't be allowed.

Usually.

There doesn't often seem to be much progress made on the current knitting project either.

WARNING

A gentleman from the south coast with a certain reputation has just informed me by text that he may find himself in Essex of a Wednesday evening in the foreseeable future.  The antics of last week have attracted his attention and caught his imagination.

Now look what you've done  ;D

I think it would be foolhardy to rule anything out or in.

You put your best root in,
You put your best root out,
in, out, in, out, shake all about.
Do the Oaky cokey and turnip round,
That's what it's all about!

It would appear not.

I have just clocked your avatar, in fact Oaky mentioned it at the weekend - very comical!  I think you need to retake the photo to include your team car driver; without her you'd be stuffed!

Oh and by the way, we briefly discussed repeating the weekend's bike camping trip in September if the weather holds up.  It was suggested that you and Mrs chief (plus the Audi - naturally) are invited to join in.  It's not as if you haven't got the kit  ;D

Sorry Chief did you say you needed to meet me at the Rose and Crown around nine o'clock to discuss mega important Great Waltham cycling day issues?

I like your thinking young man  but after rowing my little socks off the only consumption I can handle is water  ;D

I need to make a mental note to check this forum more often with tempting invitations like that on it  ;D

O:-) What can I say? A car compliments a bike in so many ways  :smug:

Up for another camping adventure in September, not sure the Mrs does camping nowadays though  :o

To the usual suspects,

This Saturday from 5pm I shall be fending for myself as Mrs chief is off out. Now the knee seems much better I'm tempted to do a short reasonable length ride returning to a pub in the area for some food and light refreshments.  Then back to mine to play some pool and throw some darts at the freshly painted walls. Could also just had straight to mine for the pool/darts/food/beer.

Any takers?

I'm at a party on the afternoon/early evening (advertised as 5.00 til late, with hog-roast at 6.00), but, given that we'll have the kids with us, "late" might not be particularly so.

I probably won't know how late until we're there, but if you're OK with short notice, I'll have the fast bike kitted out and ready to go as soon as I've put kids to bed.
