Excellent!
I had a glaucoma scare just as I was recovering from Optic Neuritis. Not fun!

I've just had a >£200 rebate from my electricity supplier. I'm not sure if this is good news: it means they had a lot of my money for most of a year.

What shall I spend it on?

My son in law's sister just entered her first ever marathon and was the first lady back, with a time of 3h 23m. And she had to stop for a Paula on the way round.

I have shiny spoke reflectors thanks to good Yacfers.  :)

Now I need to decide on a pattern - I'm thinking of a quartered pattern, like the red and white paint scheme sometimes seen on fire engine wheels. Or maybe I'll go for something more 'circular'.

Looks like Lower Thames Street, the worse road on my commute is being resurfaced. Commercial Road next?

Quite a bit (the worst bits) of Commercial have been resurfaced, from Sutton Street heading in toward the City.  Don't recall where it stops — will try to take note tonight.

I've noticed parts of Byward Street (between Lower Thames & Tower Hill) have been resurfaced, but didn't realise they were doing Lower Thames.

That's probably the bit that I meant, but going west the first part of LTS appeared to have been prepared for resurfacing, what chance they'll continue along Upper Thames Street?

The weather is good and road works are making driving less attractive, but I was pleased to see that the new bike sheds in the school playground were full this morning.
