Just remember that this government is family-friendly.

Yes, but which family?

Good news (actually boab-wording brilliant news!): I did the FNRttC withoutbreaking any bones.  And rode over 100km, and it was grand fun :)

Bad news: the last few miles were ridden pretty much one-handed.  It would appear that I can cope with about 100km or some rough road surface or a bit of climbing, but not all in the same ride.  Which means I'm not going to do the Wiggy100 or the Morecambe ride :(

Better news: It's still improving, little by little

Maybe that was the exercise part of the exercise/rest recovery cycle, and next time you'll find it's a lot easier?

Good news:  the cats have learned to communicate!  They are now able to say "Good morning, hooman.  We are afraid that your decision to place our covered litter tray outside the catflap is not acceptable to us during this period of heavy rain, as we are not prepared to get our fur wet travelling a whole metre to get to it."

Bad news:  their preferred medium of communication is pissing on the floor.

Good news: Miss Marco scored the winning try for Newmarket Girls at Colchester.

Bad news: their coach, Mrs Marco, was not there to see it, being on familial duty in Exeter Hospital.  :(

and subsequently...

Good news: it has stopped raining (at bloody last) and the sun is out here!

Bad news: I have rugby kit to wash & school stuff to sort out for tomorrow, so no time for a bike ride.   ::-)

Good news:  my new Ibex merino leg warmers are lovely and toasty warm, without all that suffocating bibtight stuff.

Bad news:  the right one slips down.  And they're size XS  :-[   One-legged squats at the gym for me

This is from Sunday, but I have only just remembered about it.

Bad news: Whilst Butterfly (and clarion) were out the front of our house being a child taxi service on the Circe, a police car pulls up and a conversation is had about one of TLD's school friends having gone missing.  I went into the back garden and asked the people there who knew this child if they had seen him.  One (the wife of one of the teachers at the school) said she would ring a few people.

Good news: He was found about 5 minutes later, by phone, at the house of one of his friends.  Community trumps Police

I hadn't realised the child was known to you!  Mind you, small community, so it's likely.

Yes, and in fact was at TLD's last birthday party.  Nice kid, if a bit boisterous :)

Clue - you're heading, AFAIK, to the same place.  As is Kim.  Altho some of you will be leaving it at different times to others, and probably returning to it at also different times.

Any votes on what you want for tea?
