Expect a rally field full of friendly randoms (some of whom have bikes), who don't recognise you but who don't know everyone else, either. There are going to be people who know RichForrest from various places, not just YACF. I'm predicting it'll be like a less formal(!) version of clarion and Butterfly's wedding, which is to say bikes and tents of all shapes and sizes, certainly

FIRE, children running around, red kites circling, BBQ, loitering within tent when it rains, that sort of thing. There will probably be groups wandering off elsewhere for walks, bike rides, pubs, cafes, soft play, emergency visits to outdoor shops, etc. over the course of the weekend.
Probably safe to assume that you're going to have a conversation or two about whether your name's actually 'Guy', after that time we were all shocked to discover that essexian was called Ian and came from Essex...
