Great Manchester Cycle 2016

It appears that this year's event has been cancelled as no 'suitable' date can be found!

Strange that the Great Manchester Run is not affected though.

I had been hoping to try and complete the 53 mile course in under 3 hours this year (an improvement of 1 minute on last year)

Probably something to do with the socking great hole in the Ring Road which for some reason will still be a hole  fully 12 months after it first appeared. It can't possibly be fixed any quicker because there's only one shovel and the bloke isn't there every day, or something . . .
