Title: Edge only draws one track on the map
Post by: EdinburghFixed on 12 August, 2011, 11:25:36 am
Funny problem this one. I have a bunch of tracks downloaded for PBP, one for each stage between controls. I can get it to display any one of these on the map by ticking the appropriate box, but when I add the next one it makes it disappear!

I'm not sure whether it's always done this because I generally display just one track (for the audax I'm on). Maybe I need to stitch together a 600km track for "out", and another for "return"?

Any alternative suggestions?

I'm not an Edge user, but ... are you sure?
Are you checking each Track by using 'view on map' or some such - this does suppress any neighbouring Tracks, on my Etrex.  The only way to check that both (all) are visible is to scroll the 'live' map from your current location to where you expect the join to be, and zoom in to a normal working zoom level.  Tedious, but you only really have to check that 2 are working, if they are, all the rest will be OK as well.
