Thank you John and all your team...I didn't ride this year, found an easier event  :). Your Elenydd is a brilliant and well organised ride.

12h and 25 mins is just an incredible time

And finally...

Thank you all for your donations at Abergwesyn. We collected £103.50, which I've topped up from the event surplus to make a donation of £200 towards Steve Abraham's One Year Time Trial.

I've also got a collection of odd gloves/mitts found in the hall when I cleared up, plus a pair of overshoes found at Shobdon. If any of them are yours please get in touch so I can repatriate them.

The controls and food were excellent and we made full use of them.  We particularly appreciated overnight accommodation in the hall.  A very well organised event, many thanks to John, Linda and all their helpers.

Here's a few photos of the wonderful scenery...

As I said at the finish, I wasn't feeling in the mood to appreciate the lumpiness of the final sections after Rhayadar to the finish with leaden legs.
But payback has been granted and yesterday's 150km headwind slog back from Newtown to Poynton across the Plain was managed OK.
So, I can now offer my thanks for the hills and the training effect.
Thanks John.

Whether I'll be praising Mr Corless after next weekend, or not, will remain to be seen. I'm packing my ski-gloves though, as my fingertips are still all a-tingly after the Not-So-Delightful-Dales 200...
PBP 2011: 1234 km by Nr. 5678 in < 90 hrs. Most auspicious...
