It was so cold this morning that I used the electrically heated seats in the car. That is proof positive that Autumn is with us  :(
It occurs to me that my Brooks saddles are the only leather seats we have that are not heated. Is this why I dont cycle much in cold weather? :-\

Best time of the year for sure.  Mists and mellow fruitfulness, and spiderwebs lit with dew and morning sun.  Commuting in Autumn is sheer bliss.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

I also love Autumn - the colours and the unexpected fine days.  Today I drove to and from work with the car hood down.  Obviously the heater was OFF.

Definately Autumn, the under-helmet cap has been needed all week in the mornings.  I'm enjoying the dark mornings though, watching dawn break as I pootle along is lovelier than I remembered.

I've managed to get 3 lots of heatstroke, but I've also got rather wet, and not had to buy any more suncream all year.

Having said that, Autumn doesn't really get going until October. September usually has SOME really nice weather.
