Quite a few of the things on the menu of the
Sichuan place I went to last night e.g.:-
Pig ear with Sichuan chilli sauce or ginger sauce
Fire-exploded kidney flowers
Special cooked pig blood in the special casserole
Sichuan-style intestine and vermincelli
1Fragrant-and-spicy duck tongue
Fire-exploded beef tripe
Fragrant-and-spicy pig tail and shank
Sliced sea bass with pork blood in Ban Qiao local sauce
fell into my "will not eat" category. I'm nto even sure I've ever seen so many things in that class on one menu.
We did have the "Strange-flavour rabbit" though, along with "Hot and Numbing beef" (which doesn't seem to appear on the
online menu unless it's the untranslated "Guan gong beef"), and a number of other dishes which were
very good.
1. Given the other exotic items they have, I'm not 100% sure that "vermincelli" is a typo
