It has the look of a part demolished railway viaduct in perhaps a gritstone area. North York Moors?

A contribution from an absent forumite (who appears in the picture in a juvenile form), with the question - "Can anyone confirm where this is?"

Boab likes paddling doesn't she ?
She stopped on the way up to Tan Hill to wade into the river.

Yes, a selection from our Lofoten - Nordkapp tour. From top to bottom:
Gimsøystraumen brua, between Gimsøy and Austvagøy
Hadselbrua between Hadseløya and Lingøya
Trongstraumenbrua on the west coast of Senja
Bottom two are both the Tromsøbrua

Does a dam count as a bridge if it's been breached?

Bah.  Had I but known that you were going to post this, I could've photo'd the aqueduct from the train when I went over it on Saturday.  Next time...
As promised.

Blurred as it was a bit dark when I took it.  5 mins ago.

Eeep.  Last thing I heard there was a riot going on above Mordor Central.  Hope you escaped okay...

Yes thanks.  The Transport Pleecemen were going round in threes rather than the usual pairs.  (One who can read, One who can write, and one to keep an eye on two dangerous intellectuals.)

The train left a bit late with lots of electronic beepery over the PA, and crawled out up the slope to Proof House Junction, where we waited for some Cross-Shitty units to clear the junction.  Then the driver put his/her foot down, and we exceeded R17 on the approach to Tamworth.

Hope you're safe from the dodgy behaviour.  You have a ferocious attack kitty to set on them.

The bridge that spans the whole picture is an old railway viaduct.  It used to carry the Dundee-Forfar railway line but now has a foot/cycle path over the top. Not one for those who suffer from vertigo. I've been trying to find out just how high it is. You get a better idea from this older image before teh trees grew. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270791512989

I didn't get a picture of the Pensford viaduct when I was there yesterday, but next time I'm out that way I'll try to remember to take a camera. It'll only be from underneath though!
