This is what I do for IE8 (at work - no choice of browser!):

Tools
Internet Options
Security tab
Custom level
Set Display Mixed Content to Enable

I don't know if it's exactly the same for IE10.

Glad you got it working.

Worth pointing out:
Browser choice is not related to your ISP.
IE10 is not 'part' of BT Internet.

It's just that if you run the setup CDs that many ISPs provide, they mess about with your browsers.
Usually only to make them display nonsense like 'IE10 provided by This_ISP!'.

The correct thing to do with ISP setup CDs is to toss them in the bin.
They add absolutely nothing to your computer that you want or need.
Shred them first, with a cross-cut shredder, so no unfortunate bin-scrounger has to endure such nonsense.

Bah, Humber!

My researches have uncovered the fact that it's the longest single span bridge that you can cycle over, and that the water underneath it might have fallen as far apart as Birmingham and Scotch Corner.

That reminds me of one of my favourite silly rhymes:

The women of Castleford are so fair
Cause they bathe in the Calder and dry in the Aire.

The Rive Ure causes confusion, as it runs through Wensleydale, which was once known as Yoredale. Catchment maps are very useful in anticipating climbing and wind direction on big rides. On LEL we entered the Trent catchment at Market Rasen, so there would be climbing on both sides. The opposite of bridges are watersheds, and it pays to know where they are.

Iron bridge in Łazany, near the Polish-Slovak border, built in 1796 as apparently the second in the world, destroyed in 1945.

Is that close to where Robert Craig (Evel) Knievel got it spectacularly wrong?

D'oh!  If only he'd dome his basic research, he might have known there was a bridge, and saved all that bother.

It is indeed - the launch ramp is still there, about two miles away.
