Cyclist killed in hit and run in Manchester on Saturday.

In complete contrast to my earlier happy post..............

Seems that the car was stolen and later found burnt out.
The comments are the usual mix but there is a particularly heart-rending one about the passer-by trying to keep the guy alive.

No, but this is oldish news and the subject has been discussed a lot elsewhere.
I have been out and yacf has been a tad flakey over the past 24 hours.

This is a tragic case but I don't really know if saying this changes anything for anyone.

My thoughts are with the victim's loved ones.

And the comment thread below the original article has turned into the usual "cyclists deserve it because they jump red lights and endanger innocent motons' NCD" bunfight.  Twunts.
