After an unfortunate spill the other day, I snapped my handlebar clean in half and bought another.

However the new one's size is not compatible with my brake levers (which seem to be fine and functional).  Does anyone have a clue which levers might be a good choice?

The new handlebar: https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/HBNIRB002/nitto-rb-002-bull-horn-handlebar

I asked Planet X support if these https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/BLTKRL720/tektro-top-mount-caliper-or-canti-brake-levers in 24mm might work and they just got back to me saying they won't be compatible. Surely with a few wraps of insulating tape it'd be OK?

Ban cars.

elsewhere those bars are listed as 23.8mm dia so I don't see why those levers in 24.0mm dia shouldn't work, provided you have caliper brakes or cantis.  What they won't do, of course, is fit to the ends of the handlebar, but I guess you knew that.

cheers

Cheers pal time to smash that order button then I guess.

I think the confusion arises from the bar clamp bit of the bar being slightly chunkier than the rest of it 💁
