It's fish pie tonight, after three weeks of no fish (a low iodine period before thyroid treatment).

A very nice salad with smoked mackerel. Nothing home grown yet unfortunately

I don't generally have hot food in the evening. I seem to sleep much better as a result.
Salad No 1: Potato, mayo, nutmeg, pepper, dill & spring onions.
Salad No 2: Rocket, grated carrot, garlic, pepper dressed with home made balsamic vinegar, garlicky olive oil & dijon mustard.
Salad No 3: White cabbage, grated carrot, red onion, pepper & mayo.

I'm treating myself tonight.

Pork chop with Stilton and sage, accompanied by roast veg, roast tomatoes and steamed chard.  All washed down with a bottle of La Bacca (100% Nerello Mascalese from Sicily).
