Yad Moss road closed

I think you can get through at the mo', but it'll have to close for a couple of weeks shortly:

UPDATE

The road will be closed between 29th March and 10th April. Bugger. Given where it is, there's no sensible route around. Dunno whether cyclists will be able to get through.

You're fine to go through onna bike - I had a ride up today and the navvie waved me through, until I explained that I was just checking the passability.

I wouldn't count on that, although you may be able to carry your bike over w footbridge by then.

There is a footbridge in Tadcaster which can be reached by bike at both ends, although you are supposed to walk across the bridge itself.
The bridge is just downstream of the road bridge and is approached through the Bus Station car park (behind the Britannia Inn pub) from the east and via Centre Lane and through the Tadcaster Albion FC car park from the west.
The current arrangement is shown on OSM and OCM, but Google Maps doesn't have the new bridge.
