Stitching/editing GOS recordings

I'm sure I've seen reference to this before, but I'm buggered if I can find it.

I've got two problems - one is that I've recorded a ride in two parts, and would like to stitch them together to present as a single ride. The second is that on one part of the ride (lapping Central Park in NY), there's a part where my phone's recording goes a bit wild and was obviously 'temporarily unsure of its position' (ie lost). Can I edit the recording to take out the misplots somehow?

This is simply for my own use to show what I actually did, as opposed to a random light-speed excursion that the phone might wish to believe it could do!
