Reload the page!  Evans has responded!
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Same here. Saw Sastre go over then it went black and reloads didn't work - only for the Army advert...  :-\

So, I'm out the loop - Sastre won supported by CSC?  Who's in yellow?  Who's in green?  Who's KOM?

Evans 1'34 behind Sastre in the overall standing. Will he be able to make this up in the final time trial? And will he be faster than Schleck and Kohl?

Exciting stuff! Can't wait to see the highlights tonight on ITV4, if the website is going to be working again by then.

I reckon that CSC might try something tomorrow too as the brothers Schleck were looking too fresh today.

No change in Green or spotty. Sastre in Yellow.

1.34 for Evans over Sastre in the TT. Should be possible but close.
Likewise Vande Velde is a very good TT rider so it should be a very close podium in Paris.

I had TdF covereage in my hotel in delhi at the weekend.  Had high hopes for the satellite tv up here in Kashmir, but no such luck  >:(

There are ample channels up here but they are controlled by the army.  No sports channels showing TdF, but crappy hindi movies to last a lifetime

You should try watching tdf in North America. 3 hours coverage, but they only show about 45 minutes worth of racing. The rest is commercials. Pah.
My wireless connection is too slow for streaming as well.
Anyway, go CSC!!

Every time they mention the Schleck brothers, I am reminded of

Sastre really went for it today and IIRC, he's useful in time trials - Evans' biggest threat. Great conclusion in prospect.

Brilliant sleight of hand by CSC - get the Aussie chatting at the door to the bogus caller in the form of a Schleck, while Sastre sneaks in the back and steals all the cash stowed under the mattress. :D

The close of the campaign should be very interesting.

I can't help but think (having actually seen the footage now) that the Schlecks were holding something back. It was just too easy for them to chase everything down with a big smile on their face.

The CSC boys are unstoppable now if you aks me.

Has Evans actually done anything other than wheelsuck yet?

He did drive the pace for a couple of minutes yesterday.

Isn't that part of his strategy though? Do as little work as possible, keep within a couple of minutes in the GC and TT to the maillot jaune just before Paris.

If it works it'll be a good strategy.

Well, he's attacked a couple of times and driven the pace at the front a few times as well.

Is that enough for you  ::-) ::-)

Considering that his team has been virtually MIA since the first day, he's done bloody well

I've been trying to count the cadence of Frank Schleck on the shallower climbs, I'm building up muscle mass at the moment to try and speed up my 10 times so I'm interested to see if Bjarne has the same idea with the Schleck boys.

No teamwork in the TT, sadly for them! Evans just has to finish ahead.

Should be tight though, especially as Cadel will go off first (of the leaders) and thus can't pace himself like Armstrong always did.

As someone on 606 said, twice as boring as Indurain. I just don't like the tour being won on the basis of a TT win, so Sastres attack yesterday was the best moment so far, though it may not be quite enough.
