Stitching 'active logs'
« on: 19 May, 2013, 08:49:40 pm »
Baes camp has imported my ride as two logs because I changed batteries on my eTrex Vista Hcx.  Is there any way to join/stitch them?

The training log software I use can stitch them together, its mac only & called Rubitrack, there's a free demo. The option is in preferences - join activities on import, then you just set how many hours apart you want it to join upto.

There are probably other ways too :)

In basecamp, multi-select all the tracks ( footprint icons ) in the LH pane.
R-click -> Advanced -> Join the selected tracks.

Thanks both for replies

   This works.

In the absence of other software, just open up the gpx file in Notepad or whatever, and delete the lines between the last trackpoint in the first active log and the first trackpoint in the second active log.
