I remember hearing jungle on pirate radio in the east end of London in the 80s and wondering why they were playing speeded up raggae

I thought it was one of their apps that I would have had to lie about my possession of a TV licence, it's not.

I actually caught the end of it which was a brief fantasy of being 14 and mtv actually playing music, but a 25 min long "stand up" had blunted mental acuity.
