Title: Brompton Front Hub bearings
Post by: quixoticgeek on 10 October, 2017, 05:41:16 pm

I just noticed that my front hub bearings have gone a bitch notchy and have some play. So it looks like time to disassemble and service the bearings. Any idea what size bearings the hub users, I'd like to order a stock of them before I take the wheel apart.

From mine, they are caged bearings of an odd size.

To answer my own question, looks like 3/16" bearings. Turns out I had 20 in stock for another hub which was just the right number. Hub cleaned, decreased and with new bearings. No tram for me tomorrow!
