Good News: We have a shower!

Bad News: Builder/plumber can't tell left from right which is not so good for a Thermostatic Bar Value shower which expects hot in one pipe and cold in another.

However, I don't mind as I'm sure it'll mean that they'll do the extra one hour bit of painting and decorating that wasn't in the original quote for free now.

Double good news. We have a tenant for our house in Wales at last and we have heard today that we are going to get the bungalow we want to rent in the lovely village of Freckleton. So it is goodbye to paying mortgage and rent at the same time and goodbye to drug row in St. Annes.

My new sofas arrived today.  They look great.  I also bought lovely rug which is a perfect match to the sofas..... and the rug was reduced from £89.00 to £30.00 and then I got 10% off with my mum's discount card :) :) :)

Little Miss Wow had a nice surprise on her return from Lunnon Town: an envelope from Girton College contained a cheque for £250 by way of a "brown envelope" job for her degree.
The loss of humanity I could live with.

Wot, Girton are so short of students they have to bribe people to get degrees?  :)

Oh - if the post facto negotiations don't fare well, can I have your bike in your will?

Tomorrow I go on work experience for a week, in Cardigan. I'm camping about 8 miles away, so get to cycle in every morning, and the company I'm working with said I can shower there :). They seem like a really friendly bunch, too :D.
