Skylab Mobilesystems Ltd maps

Does anyone have any experience with these maps?  They are listed as on-device maps for BlackBerrys and the map of the UK is a 868MB download for which they charge £10.  Strangely they do not appear on the company website but only in BB App World.  The reviews, 3 only so far, give it 4 out of 5, seem to indicate they are reasonable.

Thanks in hope!

Hi Russell,

Yesterday I downloaded the waypoint manager to have a play with.  Still need to try it out, did you download and play with it?

I thought these instructions lacked clarity.  As a review of the waypoint manager I would have thought there was much more value in referring to the feature list than wittering on about seashells.

Hi Russell,
....did you download and play with it?

Hi Shyumu

No I didn't bother.  I was happy to wait for PlayBook OS 2 to be released and then downloaded TrekBuddy which I have used on a BB handset for some years.

TrekBuddy runs very nicely on a PlayBook but with a few teething bugs.  The good news is that kruch the developer has just bought a Playbook so we can expect a bug free version very soon!

I was not aware of the waypoint manager but will look into it when I have a spare moment.

Waypoint manager is free but I'm having difficulty copying a KML file to this blackberry. So the interfgacve is pretty pointless at the moment.
