Full length "proper" mudguards for 27.5 tyred wheels
« on: 20 July, 2019, 06:16:46 pm »
I need to fit full mudguards to a 27.5 tyred ebike.

Is anyone aware of a suitable product (petty wide) ... or a bodge idea? - I can't find anything in the usual brands.   The short MTB mudguards aren't what I need.

Thanks

Rob

Would 650b mudguards do the job?

https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/mudguards-full/?diameter=650

.... not at that price !!! - I really need black plastic - thanks anyway.

How big are the tyres on there? IIRC folks on LFGSS have used the wide 700c SKS/Bluemels guards on fat 650b tyres without problems - with big tyres on the actual difference in diameters isn't all that much.

Schwalbe Big Ben 2.0 - I'm going to order some SKS wide 700 guards and hope they fit!

I had some sks longboards on Olive, worked well for 700x 32 and 650 x 42. (Look at pics of Olive on bike review section)
