 :D

My pal Jeff (of the Famous Five notoriety) has suggested doing this in June. 4th to 12th 2019. His pal Ian is to sort out B & Bs. I think it infinitesimally unlikely that my dear wife will accompany us on this jaunt, but since Ian wasn't originally part of the "Famous Five", we still are five, but just a bit more infamous.

B & B for 5 is an odd number (you don't say!) so I might well be taking camping gear just in case. We'll see what Ian comes up with when he books in January.

I'm really looking forward to it. I think I'm right in saying that the other four are all septuagenarians (Jeff and his twin brother Mick most certainly are, having been born on the same day in 1944, I think, and Annie, of the Woodbridge Boat fame, is a year or so younger. Ian, I believe, was a school friend of J & M, so I'm guessing that he is 74 as well. That makes me the youngest in the party by about 8 years, I think) so that in itself is something to wonder at.

I'll put the kettle on.

I think our route stayed rather too far to the east to take in Llandysul. I'll check.

Thought this thread was going to be about a bowl of petunias and wondered why it was in Rides & Touring...

That was, of course, what inspired the thread title.
