Automatic bird feeders
« on: 11 January, 2010, 11:09:28 am »
Its been snowing here since before Christmas and as well as stocking up the hanging feeders I have been put food out on a ground feeder for the thrushes etc. That got buried somewhere under the snow on the lawn so I used a cardboard box lid from the packaging from a Christmas pressie. That too was buried and so I used another one and so on. It started thawing yesterday afternoon and the series of temporary feeders is being revealed one after the other much to the delight of the feathered residents of the area.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.
