Back-marker here is probably going to DNS because of amount of rain forecast.  Great route for a nice day, early July date gives long hours of daylight and start time should work well but the weather, as always, couldn't be provided for.   I won't be going out on a bike on Saturday if the forecast stays as is (BBC 2359 Thurs).  Respect and best wishes to the hardier types.
