58 miles done by 11.30. Saffron Walden. Lots of places to eat there!

Swaaaafum as pronounced in the local dialect has possibly the longest vowel sound in the English language.  Stopped there for tea and cake with CET Junior on the Mildenhall Rally 200 last year.  Very nice.  And Breckland was surprisingly pleasant to ride through, with lots of woodland for shelter from the wind.  Didn't keep us dry in the cloudburst that followed though.

We took the grandkids to the seaside, and according to the tracker, we had overtaken Steve on 'Thay-ten' (Norfolk/Cambs for 'the A10') just before we got home. Because of the slight time lag, I'd guess he was a minute or two ahead of us when we turned off.

Go Steve!

The tracker's showing 206 miles and he's got another 2 or 3 to do to get home - if he goes by the most direct route.
