I have already been out today, 43 miles trip to Great Bardfield.  On the way I passed Sky team members Dowsett and Cavendish on their way back from the Blue Egg.  This is the best way to pass them, since it would be an impossible thing to do travelling in the same direction...

I managed only one ascent of North Hill, after coffee at Papermill Lock.

Hope you enjoy your evening out, look forward to reading the reports tomorrow.

I too have already been out today. 57 miles including a North Hill ascent.

I'm knackered now and shan't be coming out to play this evening!
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

I did a gentle 18 miles earlier, knocking off a couple of North hill ascents in the process, but will definitely be back for more tonight on the way to the Leather Bottle :)

Home at about 00:10 - one NH ascent and 31 miles.

Bloomers, Tomsk and Simon (NOTP?) in attendance.  Bloomers on his Steamroller.

I just noticed that the Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival starts tomorrow.

I can't decide whether to go cycle-powered or on the train.

OK - I'm probably going to the BeerFest on Saturday night,  which doesn't mean to say I won't go tonight, but it does leave me open to go elsewhere instead.

Anybody up for a chilly outing?

I think I am going to have a short hibernation period, given how icy the breeze feels just riding to/from the office during the day.
Maybe next week......

I might go and sample the conditions now whilst the sun is out in that case.

A thought process similar to mine.  TCMR and I are thinking of walking to The Woolly tonight while TT is at Sprouts if anyone is in the vicinity.

When will you be at the Woolly?  I suspect it's while Acorn #1 is at Brownies, but if it's after, I could possibly join you.

They do a nice pint of Oscar Wilde.  You've just got to hope you don't get mugged by the darts players!

Be careful if you are on two wheels...I went out running earlier and there are lots of patches of ice in the Woodham Walter/Little Baddow area.

Enjoy your evening!

A fine night to Freeze Your Bits Off. Enjoy yourselves - I have a mere half-mile walk to book club.

Shortest MEMWNS EVA!!  (3.1 miles round trip).

OD+TCMR present in the Woolpack, a fine establishment whose urinals are built by a boatbuilding (and sanitaryware) firm.

A few pints of Oscar Wilde, followed by a bracing ride home (-4 to -5 C in my garden when I got here).

In the house by 10:30.

I walked and took a WAG so will be claiming my extra points. Although I fully appreciate that points will be deducted as I didn't finish my final pint.
