I know it was early in the race, but having to chase back on after her puncture must have 'burnt a few matches' as they say. I wonder if that affected her ability to keep up later in the race.

Probably not. She would have struggled to keep up with the proper climbers anyway.

I thought Vos might do better but clearly she's still some way off from being back to her best.

Would it have made 10 seconds difference in the chase? Maybe. I was wondering what she was saying to Nikki Harris when she got back to the peloton, Didn't seem overly happy. And just at the time when Emma decided to give them a hill climbing lesson.
