Stolen Dawes tandem

On Sunday 17 May, Danni's tandem was stolen from outside her house in
Burghfield Common, by 2 hooded youths, seen by a neighbour. The police
were immediately informed and to their credit found the single pannier
discarded in a local wood, but alas no sign of the tandem.
It seems likely that the tandem will be dumped by the thieves rather
than ridden, but could be offered for sale.

Tandem is dark green Dawes Galaxy, 21/19 inch,Shimano integrated
3x8(ironically transmission and rear mech[Deore LX]replaced by Bob a few
weeks ago), V-brakes with gold horseshoe-type brace on front, Mavic 700C
rims, Continental front tyre, Bontrager rear. Drum drag brake operated
by handlebar end lever from off-side rear handlebar, Brooks sprung
leather saddle on rear.

There's a couple of distinctive touches to that bike.  I'm confident I'd spot it if it were nearby.
