Ridden it 3 times. It's a tough 300, but the calendar event benefits from Ivan and ACH's great hospitality throughout...
No tips as such, just make sure you get some stew at Seaford and chips and curry sauce at Bexhill to power you up for the last 100km.

Thanks for that, sounds like a great day of hills and eating...
Did you ride to the start or drive ? just wondering about parking ?

I live approx 3km from the start... so I rode it :)
It does set off from an underground car park though... I have no idea of rates. Pretty sure an event email will be due before long with that kind of info in it tho.

Greenwich is touristy so pretty pricey for parking - Lewisham is cheaper e.g. the shopping centre is about 10 mins ride from the start.

There's a surprising amount of unrestricted on-street parking in that part of London if you're prepared to do some research and park a short distance away.
(perhaps near the finish, which isn't the same as the start)

It's a great route and that last climb before you get back into Bromley.... .ooof! Eat well at every opportunity.

I just cycle down form North London. So depends where you are.

There are some free parking bays on the roads across Blackheath, around the tea hut and near the pond. If you're arriving for a 6.00am start you should find most of them empty. It's a short downhill to the start from there. I don't know what the situation is around the southern tip of the Isle of Dogs, but it may be possible to park over there and walk through the foot tunnel to the start.
