Have a play with Tyre to Travel.
Specify the start and finish. Generate a route and then pull the route by grabbing and dragging until it agrees with the Routesheet. Each grab and drag will create a Waypoint.

Save as ‘Garmin Global Positioning eXchange’ file.

Don’t blame me if the Garmin eTrex 30 doesn’t replicate the exact route that is on the Tyre to Travel screen.
As Kim says, ‘sensible places’. This is through bitter experience.
