Does anyone know what it is called when someone feels compelled to reply to every post on an internet forum ?

Is it a form of OCD ?

I was going to say, no-one's going to reply to this, to avoid being accused of replying to every post.  But there's a flaw in that.

Seriously though, some people do like the sound of their own voice, as well as seeing their comments in print.  Ego issues account for a lot of problems in the world.

In answer to the OP, yes. It is a recognized psychiatric condition known as Chambers Syndrome.
