Electric fat-bike

I was aware of e-MTBs but not, hitherto, their fat-tyred brethren. I saw one in use in Chiswick earlier - it looked like a superb comfortable ride. I couldn’t identify it but it might have been a Mondraker e-panzer:

If not, very similar, maybe a KTM, but with slick tyres. In some ways it is an excellent choice as a commute tool.

I see one fairly regularly on the bit of my commute which clips The Lea Valley reservoirs.
Not that make thobut - not sure what make the one I see is.

Torslanda

  • Just a tart for retro kit . . .

Specialized market a model with 3" tyres (IIRC 650b) . I've seen one or two, think they use the Bosch mid-drive system.

Super comfy but somewhere North of 4 grand to buy...
VELOMANCER

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.
