Turned up to a shop ride round the corner from where I live... Crossing the Humber to do so.

More clues please.

I only needed three clues. ;)

(Actually, I guessed the answer after two clues but the third confirmed it. The fourth removed any lingering doubts.)

Yeah, were his gears suspiciously clean and misbehaving?  :)

He was certainly disappearing into the distance ahead of me rather rapidly!

That was indeed me.

That was the gillet I got from Charlotte OTP earlier in the week.
It's inaugural outing.

Because I'd messed up the cassette, I lost the middle gears which forced me into either too low or too high a gear most of the day!
I was also cheating a wee bit as I was the only person with aerobars that I noticed.
I find that being on the areo extensions suits pushing a slightly higher gear anyway.

Glad you enjoyed your day out.

A car parked outside the Porth in Llandysul this morning, with a Cannondale in the back and an Audax UK sticker on the back window.

Greenbank, are you visiting your parents?
(Saw a 'serious' cyclist leaving somewhere very close to their house at lunchtime today.)

Evening Prayer at St Helen's church... and absolutely delighted to see chrisbainbridge and The Reverend Mrs chrisbainbridge smiling at me from one of the pews. Really good to catch up over a coffee. :)

Which reminds me - I forgot to mention the time Peter and Tors turned up in St Helen's church too... now I know we have a moat, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be working.  ;D

Not me. I've only taken my bike down there once as I stopped there on the way to Cornwall. Too hilly for a fat ex-flatlander like me.

Torslanda in his shop, it must have been a long week, he mistook me for Peter  :-\

I think that it is always a long week for Torslanda as one week merges seamlessly into the next...

Had coffee and a natter with Pickled Onion.  Really nice to put a face to a name.

Tomorrow I should see Torslanda and Cycleman.   Hey, you take the rough with the smooth!   :demon:   :D

I took Marj out for lunch, which really should have been tomorrow but it's raining today and tomorrow I should be able to ride without winter gear.

To explain. Peter is a regular visitor and generally wears a red Night Vision or similar and a roadie cap. As he has been allowed out on the bike again he had said earlier in the week that he may call in towards weekend.

Si arrived yesterday dressed in red jacket and roadie cap, I put 2 & 2 together and got it completely wrong!
VELOMANCER

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.
