Campsite recommendations in the Tring / berkhamsted area
« on: 11 January, 2024, 09:43:11 pm »
Looking for something for a few days in spring.  Recommendations most welcome.

I already know of Watlington which is stretching it for the area I have in mind as one of friends lives in Hemel and will be limited primarily by the train.

https://hillfarmcampsite.co.uk/ any good?  I've not stayed there, but the clue appears to be in the name...

Mr R was looking at Town Farm Camping recently.  Looks quite nice and not too far from Tring

Fuzzy’s Farm and Highridge Farm are decent locations and not far from Hemel (arguably walkable). I have no experience of camping at either- but often pass them while running (Highridge is on the Ashridge Boundary trail with great walks and views)
