The route is this:
Millennium Bridge to Broadway West via cycle path
Cross Fulford Road at traffic lights
Broadway, towards Heslington
Through the University, taking in new cycle paths and Central Hall
Old Heslington Road, past The Retreat, Heslington Road
Cross Cemetery Road at the lights and onto Kent St
Fawcett St /Fishergate Gyratory
Cross the River Foss at St George's Fields
Skeldergate Bridge
Turn left and double back, and left under Skeldergate Bridge
Skeldergate
Cross Micklegate at the lights to North St
Go past Bike Rescue Hub Station and under Lendal Bridge
Cycle along Wellington Row, the riverside next to Memorial Gardens
Turn left between Memorial Gardens and Westgate Apartments
Turn left into Leeman Road with Memorial Gardens on left
Turn left onto Station Avenue, under the Wall
Left through the pedestrian lights to Station Road
Over Lendal Bridge
Museum St
Cross to Duncombe Place through traffic lights
Turn right into Petergate, Low Petergate
Right into Church St
Left into Parliament St
Through the lights into Coppergate
Left into Clifford St, Tower St
Left into the Eye of York
Leave the Eye of York and cross Tower St to Tower Gardens
Skirt the edge of Tower Gardens and turn left at the riverside
Take the cycle path between St George's Field and the river
Cross the River Foss as it enters the Ouse at the Blue Bridge
New Walk
