Did BT do a major software update to their exchanges yesterday?

which didn't work?

cos our phone network went down for most of the day due to an exchange 'fault', and it turns out from the Blogosphere that we weren't alone.

did anyone else suffer?

No but my broadband speed seems to have improved of late.  :) :)
