Too many redirects "fun" with yahoo mail. Anyone else?

As subject.

Opera v52.

All OK last night.  Not this morning.
Yahoo login is fine, but any attempt to go to the mail pages gets the "too many redirects".  Message text varies from mg.yahoo yada to guce.yahoo yada, yada

Cleared cookies no dice.
Managed to get in once with IE, but not since.
Nothing helpful on google.

And just to add to the "fun" Opera won't upgrade.

Yeah was working fine for MrsLurker when she finally got around to checking.

Have sorted it, for now.  Eventually twigged that the issue was with their "consent" form  and managed by pure fluke to get to it, reset everything to "sod off and don't bother me" and finally got in.  JavaScript.  The only language specifically designed to emulate the faeces flinging behaviour of monkeys.

And Opera failing to upgrade was my fault.  I'd forgotten that I'd renamed their sleeper upgrade service exe (opera_autoupdate.exe) so that it isn't started so I don't get upgrades unless I request them.  It needs to be running if you do request an upgrade which is triggered automatically fer chrissake by going to the "About" page. WTF!?
