Having met Twinkle toes, I think she'll love it, Kirsty will come round to it too, it's just the thought of it is worse.

I have packed Twinkles Toes' pink wellies.  K can borrow my Rainlegs and rubber booties, I'll just get wet.

Saturday looks like being the worst day so I have a short and long version of the route programmed into the Garmin.

We are staying in B&Bs so at least we can get warm and dry in the evening.

Yay, that is good news.

That is good to hear Sam.

I've finished knitting my hat and I am quite pleased with the outcome.

We have completed two days of our 3 day inaugural bike tour. We did the short route today as rain was forecast, we got to the B&B just as the rain started.

Watching the Olympic gymnasts this afternoon. I reckon I can turn my Black & Decker Workmate into a pommel horse. How hard can it be?  London 2012 here I come!

My Minty Arse Lard arrived as did 2 Vittoria Open Pave EVO-CG tyres.

It is sooooooo hard to resist fitting the tyres now!

Thank you Tim :-*

I think it is good news but shall not be changing my name.  I haven't seen the little boy and not sure I will get to see him due to rather difficult circumstances but I have received a picture that I shall post later on.

Apparently they are all ok which is all that matters at the end of the day.

I quite like the concept of Granny Annie - sounds like somewhere you'd put an aged relative (the Granny Annexe).

Anyway, at least you can rest secure in the knowledge that you'll easily win the 'Glamorous Granny' competition!   ;D   :-*

Congrats M'Dear - I don't specifically remember any one of my beers at the weekend being destined to wet the baby's head, so I'll have one special pint tonight! :D

I'm off to dribble on look at an Wilier Izoard Pro in Cyclesurgery (but I won't be buying one until FY09).

Thanks all.  I have been out purchasing little baby bits and bobs, sooo much fun and so cute.

I will be purchasing a cot at some stage in the next few hours but have no idea what or where to look, tis many years since I used one.

After hours of agonising we went for a cotbed as it offered a longer useful life than just a cot, and the cost was only marginally more.

Best palces to buy? Mothercare or Toys'R'Us (yes really), avoid the IKEA ones like the plague and Blooming Marvelous and Jojo Bebe Mama will charge you through the nose for the same stuff....

HTH, oh and Congrats BTW...
