That box is full of someone's cherished memories. Can't help thinking that someone was burgled . . .

Cycling along, as I do, and spotted this box, upon further investigation,...........................

Didn't look to be anything of any value, but called 101 just in case. and 20 minutes later, PC  came out , and said very interested in it at the moment, as they are '' actively persueing enquires, relevant to related incidents in the locality ''  I didn't hang around after he turned up, as I'd chilled off a tad too much by then, and was cold.

Some scrote(s) have burgled a house and grabbed the jewellery box. They have snaffled what looks sellable and ditched the rest out of the getaway car window. regular occurrence.

I found one of these laying in the middle of the road blinking at me this morning.

yes, but don't you think its a bit strange, that in 2015, (ok prob 2014) , toy makers are still making 'cowboy guns' the style of which is now over 150 years old, and that children readily associate with them, despite a distinct lack of 'western 'movies nowdays, rather than say an OOzzee 9mm,

Men of a certain age reading comics as kids. Its a reference to a character in a comic. Alf Tupper had his fish and chips, others had cricket bats.
Get a bicycle. You will never regret it, if you live- Mark Twain

Ah!... er... what ''certain age'' might that be then.   Just curious. coz I'm obviously not of that ''certain age' which may or may not be a good thing.

I found a kitchen bathroom sink.  I did consider strapping it to the back of the Brompton for a "fully loaded touring bikes" photo, but it was a lane with a freshly-dredged ditch on either side and  there wasn't anything convenient to lean the bike against while I did it.

Ah, possibly, except to 2 very important factors,

A) I have no records or cassette tapes to hand, and fm signal might be a bit crap 'on the move'

B) I don't have a dyno hub on this bike.

Also balancing it on the handlebars might cause a bit of a wobble.

Oh man; I would have given my eye teeth for one of these as a teenager. If you promise it will bring back my youth (but without the spots and anxiety and impecuniousness and exams and bullying), I'll be there in a thrice*

(*It's using words like 'thrice' that probably led to most of the bullying, now I think about it).
What's so funny about peace, love and understanding?

Too bloody right. It should have been 'trice'. Trice. TRICE.

Say it. Come on. SAY IT. TRICE.
