We bought a Lidl (belgian) waffle maker at the w/e for about £12. I made the suggested batter (0.5x) last night and gave it a whirl this am for breakfast... Great waffles, which we had with Golden or maple syrup.
The 0.5x quantity did 8x substantial waffles. I've never made them before, but so much better than the bought waffles that you reheat...
Any other good waffle/ batter recipe variations people have tried..?
