Saw them in Sheffield last night. I wasn't really expecting great things because I thought that they must have peaked when I saw them supported by Liz Fraser on the "Mezzanine Tour".
They were very close to that peak- this time they had Martina Topley-Bird with them

It was my first hearing of the new stuff and, surprisingly, it seems instantly likeable. They also managed to do justice to all of their back catalogue with Mezzanine at the fore-front:- bruising run throughs of "Angel" and "Risingson" were the best moments.
My music highlight of the year so far (will reserve judgement- going to see the Cult next month
