Excellent photos, Lee.
From another one who prefers to view them at his own pace.

Agree with both points.

With the music, it's a different experience (two different ones with the different musics), and it takes more time (which could be a good thing of course).

Went to a Vivian Maier exhibition with my Mum a couple of years ago.
Wonderful!

Wonderful!

This was my homage.

I took it outside the exhibition and had it printed and framed identically to the exhibits.

Some people say I'm self-obsessed but that's enough about them.

I prefer the Google photos UI, although there are similarities

Here's an example of an auto-created album by Google (photos are not special) https://goo.gl/photos/5RNvj9YGbTzVK6L49 where Mr Google just lobbed a few into an album and came up with a title. The plain white is pleasant to scroll, click on photo to go into slideshow mode, click Info button for accompanying text.

tbh, I wouldn't pay for either.

Lovely sky yesterday afternoon. A view from one of our upstairs windows (cropped to remove stuff that didn't look good but otherwise OOC).

Been playing with my new extension tubes. Frosty leaf this morning. Hand held so sorry about the camera shake.

Last night on Gloucester railway station, after a session of bouldering (my climbing partner is away skiing).
Somewhat of a professional tea drinker.

Just had the phone with me today by the bridge. Found the bricked up access to the steps and climbed down to water level. Then waited for a few birds to wander into shot

Took the Motorhome to Devizes, near the K&A canal.  Walked to Trowbridge and got back in the very last of the light, to the point where we were using our phone "flashlights" on the towpath.

The smell from the log-burners on the narrowboats was lovely.

A bit of still-life with a box of watches I have accumulated over the years (mostly from junk shops), because I can't resist an old Timex.

I like that, Lee.  I might have looked for a bit more contrast, myself, but we're all different.

No need for Mt Geller.  If I want to know the time I obviously just choose the watch closest to the correct time.  Duh!

I know what you mean, I'm a bit of a fan of contrast and clarity turned up.  However it's a difficult one to get right for everyone.
The histogram is spot on, blacks are just disappearing and whites are just blowing (Mainly the chrome cases and I wanted to keep the details of reflections in there).

I'm having it printed so I want it exposed for that rather than a screen.  Printers (the Human variety)  usually know what to do with an image to bring out the best on whatever paper you specify (Museum Matte in my case) so the most I can do is give them as much tonal range as possible to play with.  They did a lovely job with this (The watches image will be hung next to it)
